Kedarnath Yatra 2019
This video is about my recent trip to #Kedarnath. I have
started this solo tour from Haridwar.
Kedarnath is one of the 12 #jyotirlinga and situated at
height of 3583 m ( Kedarnath height in ft is 11755)

General question is #How To Reach Keadarnath Temple ?
By Bus – Direct bus service are available from haridwar to
sonprayag in season time which are operated by GMOU and himgiri. But there are
only 2-3 buses are running in early morning and timings are around 5 AM, 6 AM,
7 AM and ticket cost is around ₹ 350 per person
By Taxi – it will cost you around ₹ 4500-5000 for one side
and fare may depend upon the size of vehicle like you are opting for a
Hatchback (Alto) / Sedan(Dezire) or MUV(Ertiga)

Kedarnath :
Haridwar- Rishikesh – Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag –
Augustmuni – Guptkashi – Sonprayag
So after reaching
sonprayag if you are having extra luggage then you can submit your luggage in a
cloak room available in sonprayag. Then sonprayag to gaurikund distance is of 5
K.M. and there u can reach by tracking or shared jeep are available on route
which will take around ₹ 20 per person.
Gaurikund to Kedarnath distance is 16 K.M. this distance can be covered on a pony (Cost
around ₹ 2500 ) or by trek.

Jungle Chatti (4 KM) →
Bheembali (6 KM)→ Rambara Bridge →
(7 KM) → Chota Linchauli –( 8.50
KM) → Linchauli (11 KM) → Rudra Point (14 KM) →
Kedarnath Base Camp(14.50 KM) → Kedarnath Temple(16KM)
Best Time To Travel
Opening date 09-05-2019 and Closing date is 29-10-2019
Best time to visit kedarnath is August and September (May
and June are the most crowded month in the yatra season)
Where to stay ?
In yatra season it is better to take hotel or lodge in
Sitapur before 2-5 KM from Sonprayag, As in yatra season Sonprayag is very
crowded and when you reach kedarnath there are lodges available but with that
Tent services are also available which can cost you around ₹ 250 per person
(inside of the tent is show in the video).

Haridwar to sonprayag Bus Ticlet - ₹ 350
Sitapur Hotel Charge - ₹ 500
Sonprayag to kedarnath BY walk so no charge
Kedarnath tent charge - ₹
250
Return Bus ticket from Sonprayag To haridwar - ₹ 350
Food Expenses - approx ₹ 500
So total cost is ₹ 1450
